Legal matters can be complex and disorienting. This is especially the case when the matter needs to be litigated instead of negotiated. At my office, clients trust their litigation matters to me, attorney Kim Lacy Morris. For over 30 years, I have been representing the interests of my clients in court, having articulately argued numerous cases in front of a judge and jury.

I am an experienced trial lawyer, with over 30 years of courtroom experience. My understanding of the trial process is extensive and I am able to communicate this to my clients so they can understand what is happening and why. Being in a courtroom can be intimating. However, with my experience and background, I am comfortable vigorously standing up for my clients' rights in any venue.

My involvement in a litigation matter is comprehensive. I begin by gathering all evidence that is essential in the matter, whether that be witness statements or physical evidence of injury. This frequently happens even before any paperwork regarding a lawsuit is filed. I want to make sure that we build a solid case before proceeding with action.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

In addition to handling cases in court through litigation, I have also handled my clients' cases through methods of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), such as mediation. In some situations, this can be the most cost-effective and efficient way of obtaining and outcome to the case.
