Kim Lacy Morris is an attorney with over thirty years of experience. She is compassionate and takes the time to personally meet with each of her clients to understand the issues in their case, their goals, and also their concerns. She investigates each case fully in order to realistically assess the various likely outcomes of the case. The legal system can be very intimidating and foreign to clients and for this reason Ms. Morris carefully explains the procedure and the anticipated costs involved to each client.

The Law Firm of Kim L. Morris, LLC is located in Lakewood, Colorado and represents clients throughout the Denver metropolitan area. The law firm handles many different legal matters involving the following areas:

Family law, including dissolution of marriage
Personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents
Nursing home negligence
Medical malpractice
Guardianships and conservatorships

Ms. Morris has represented injured individuals and individuals with family issues since 1976. After passing the Colorado bar in 1976, she worked for the Legal Aid Society for four years in a general poverty law practice, which entailed considerable trial work. She left the Legal Aid Society in 1980 to join the Law Office of John R. Holland, a Denver area law firm, where she gained further extensive experience and knowledge in her current law practice areas. In 2001 she opened her own law office.

Ms. Morris is a second-generation attorney. Her father had a long and successful career as a litigation attorney. His strong ethics and impassioned representation of his clients left an impression on Ms. Morris long before she entered law school. She abides by those lessons to this day.

As a solo practitioner, the Law Firm of Kim L. Morris, LLC provides personal attention and client service and her clients deal directly with her throughout all stages of their cases. She prides herself in being accessible to each client no matter how small or large the legal matter involved. She works hard to provide a personal touch in her practice because she cares about her clients and understands the emotions and difficulties that arise in family related and personal injury cases.

It is important in any legal case to measure the benefits and risks of the legal procedure as well as the cost and probability of success. Ms. Morris carefully walks through this analysis with each client so that the client can make informed decisions at each stage of the case.

Ms. Morris has an aggressive, yet practical approach when representing, counseling, and advising her clients. She looks at a case in a big picture view and tries to take advantage of opportunities to solve issues in a beneficial way that is in the best interest of the client. This flexible philosophy takes advantage of both traditional litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. She is an experienced trial attorney and has also used meditation extensively in family law and personal injury cases.

Call the Law Office of Kim L. Morris today to schedule your appointment to meet with her to discuss your case. She is conveniently located near the intersection of Alameda and Wadsworth Blvd. in the Bel Mar Center.
