I have an aggressive, yet practical approach when representing, counseling and advising clients. I look at a case in a big-picture view and try to take advantage of opportunities to solve issues in ways that best benefit my clients. This flexible philosophy takes advantage of both traditional litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. I am an experienced trial attorney, and I have used mediation extensively in family law cases.

I have represented individuals with family law needs since 1976. After passing the Colorado bar in 1976, I worked for the Legal Aid Society for four years in a general poverty law practice. I left the Legal Aid Society in 1980 to join the Law Offices of John R. Holland, a Denver area law firm, where I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in my current practice areas. I left the Law Offices of John R. Holland in 2001 to open my own practice.
