Welcome to my website, I am attorney Kim Lacy Morris. My law office is located in Lakewood, Colorado, and I represent and advise clients throughout the greater Denver metro area. My firm represents clients in the areas of personal injury, nursing home negligence, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, litigation, family law, and elder law .
I have represented injured individuals and individuals with family-related issues since 1976. After passing the Colorado bar in 1976, I worked for the Legal Aid Society for four years in a general poverty law practice. I left the Legal Aid Society in 1980 to join the Law Offices of John R. Holland, a Denver area law firm, where I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in my current practice areas. I left the Law Offices of John R. Holland in 2001 to open my own practice.
As a solo practitioner, my clients receive personal attention and client service that only a small firm and an experienced attorney can provide. My clients deal directly with me through all stages of their case, and I pride myself on being accessible to my clients. I also work hard to provide a personal touch in my practice, because I care about my clients and understand the emotions and difficulties involved with injuries and family-related issues.
I have an aggressive, yet practical approach when representing, counseling, and advising clients. I look at a case in a big picture view and try to take advantage of opportunities to solve issues in a beneficial way that is in the best interest of the client. This flexible philosophy takes advantage of both traditional litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. I am an experienced trial attorney, and I have used mediation extensively in family law and personal injury cases.
